What Is a Private Ceremony?
A private ceremony at Lōkahi Sanctuary is a carefully prepared, professionally facilitated sacred experience using entheogenic medicines. It is not recreational. It is not casual. It is a profound act of healing — approached with the reverence, preparation, and professional care that such work deserves.
Private ceremonies are conducted in an intimate, one-on-one or very small group setting. Your facilitator — a member of our Divine Tribe — will be with you throughout the entire experience, holding the space, ensuring your physical and emotional safety, and guiding you gently through whatever arises.
Who Is This For?
A Lōkahi private ceremony may be right for you if you:
- Are experiencing persistent depression, anxiety, grief, or emotional pain that conventional approaches have not resolved
- Are seeking a profound shift in perspective, clarity of purpose, or spiritual connection
- Are navigating a major life transition — illness, loss, relationship change, or career upheaval
- Have done personal or therapeutic work and feel ready for a deeper layer
- Are called to experience ceremony but want the safety and support of professional guidance
You do not need to be in crisis to seek transformation. We also welcome those who are spiritually motivated, curious, and simply ready.

Your Safety Is Our Priority
The wellbeing of every participant is our most sacred responsibility. Before every ceremony, your facilitator conducts a thorough intake and screening process — and we do not proceed if there is any concern about your safety or readiness, referring to appropriate medical or therapeutic professionals when needed. All facilitating members of our Divine Tribe are trained in harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and emergency response. You will not be alone. You will not be judged. You will be held.

BEFORE: Preparation
Preparation is everything. In the weeks beforehand, you'll work closely with your facilitator to set a clear intention, follow dietary and lifestyle guidelines, and prepare mentally and emotionally — meeting the resistance or fear you're ready to face. Together you'll address any medical or mental health considerations with full transparency and confirm no contraindications are present.

DURING: The Ceremony
Your facilitator guides you in with grounding practices, prayer, and intention-setting, then stays present throughout the journey — which lasts between 4 and 12 hours depending on the medicine. Whatever arises — emotions, visions, difficult passages — they support you through it with skill, gentleness, and deep care.

AFTER: Integration
The ceremony is the beginning, not the end. What you do with the insights in the weeks that follow is where lasting transformation takes root. Every private ceremony includes a post-ceremony integration call, with additional support available — follow-up sessions, journaling guidance, and referrals to therapists and coaches in our network.
